The Challenge
The Greater Omaha Chamber needed to modernize its economic development website and build an integrated content campaign to reach a national audience of business leaders, investors, and site selectors. The goal: showcase Omaha’s strength across high-priority industries, drive inbound interest from relocation or expansion prospects, and position Omaha as a hub for innovation and opportunity.

As content strategist and lead writer:
- Led a full content audit of the Chamber’s economic development site
- Implemented an SEO-informed strategy to improve visibility and structure
- Developed the new content architecture in collaboration with developers and designers
- Interviewed local leaders, executives, and stakeholders to shape industry narratives
- Wrote all core content: landing pages, blog posts, email campaigns, paid ads, and social content
- Coordinated with internal and external stakeholders for reviews, feedback, and approvals
- Helped implement content across digital channels and ensured message consistency

Multi-Format Repurposing Strategy
Each industry campaign was designed around one key idea: create once, repurpose everywhere.
- For each of 10 high-value target industries (e.g. biotech, fintech, logistics), the strategy includes:
- A dedicated landing page with tailored messaging, data, testimonials, and CTAs
- A series of blog posts featuring industry overviews and local company spotlights
- A segmented email campaign featuring highlights and links back to the website
- Multiple social media posts designed for both awareness and engagement
- A set of paid ad variants for search and social platforms
- Reuse of campaign content at conferences and trade events — including signage, handouts, and talking points
- Each piece was designed to connect and reference the others, ensuring consistent messaging across platforms and multiple customer touchpoints.
